How to feel confident before you’re ready
Most people are waiting for a feeling that shows up last. They think confidence comes first, and the action comes after—so they wait, and wait, and call the waiting “not being ready yet.”
But confidence isn’t the ticket you buy before the ride. It’s what you’re handed on the way out. You act, something small goes okay, and your brain quietly files a new piece of evidence: I can do hard things.
So start smaller than feels impressive. Send the message. Ask the question. Post the thing. The goal isn’t to feel brave—it’s to collect one piece of proof, then another, until self-trust stops being a mood and becomes a track record you can point to.
You don’t need to feel ready. You need to begin, and let the feeling catch up.
